Wow! This was really the most fun activity on the moot campsite!
Just nice. And notice the air condition: no roof ;-)
Belgium dancing at the international exhibition!
Remember? Hammi....
Scotish
One of the last picture of our bus... sniff...
Visit to Teotihuacan. We chose to take a ride first... It should be the fault of the day...
...because the price was the most enormous queue I've seen in Mexico (and this will say something, because there are queues everywhere).
I've to admit that I was overwhelmed by the precision and size of the ancient architecture.
And our scientists were not and still are not able to tell us who built this imense city. It's simply unknown.
View to the sun-pyramid. This is the second largest pyramid of the world! 2'000 workers would have had to work for 20 years 365 days and 24 hours to build this monument. The city around was with 200'000 inhabitants the second largest of this period (0-600 past Christ) after Constantinopel (today Istanbul).
Vila Moot was in the middle of this 2'000 meters above sea level plateau. It's near the white spot in the middle of the picture.
This was the end of the World Scout Moot in Mexico and the start of the Taiwan Moot - will we meet there?
Evening over the Vila Moot lake with little lights on "Alcatraz".
How was this again...
To all VW-fans: visit Mexico City!
Double protection: Cactuses all around the Vila Moot and the cheap but probably quite efficient "glas-security" on top of the outside walls.
The back of "Vila" Moot...
This is the start of a picture series about these famouse, little houses.
Guess what he's doing.
| No! He's not *going* to the toilet, he was *running* to the toilet. As so many did... And to be a bit indiscrete: I always like to tell the story about Matthias who had this kind of "problem" before going to a bus. So I gave him two Immodium pills and after 15 minutes he showd up with a much more relaxed face. So far so good. But when I met him *two* days later and asked how "toilet goes" he responded: I don't know, I haven't been yet...
